I wanted something comfy and interesting today. So this giant, thin, metallic cardigan thing appeared. The photo doesn't do the blue and aqua shimmer stripes justice, or the sleeve drape (which has been draping in everything today). It used to have a single small shell button in the middle to join it together, but I cut it off, it was a bit too hippy otherwise. As it is, it has a label next to the brand and washing instructions that reads 'sparkle the world'.
I have stuck to one dramatic piece today and just slung on my leggings and a nice plain grey t-shirt. My pear necklace is in keeping with the aqua-greeny colours in my robe. and it puts something midst the base colour column now running down my being.
The belt is necessary to hold the robe in and stop it flapping everywhere and it gives me some shape too.
Remember, metallics are not just for nighttime, you can sparkle in the day as well! It's always nice to wear something unexpected and slightly dramatic for everyday!
