Day Forty Eight

Claire is wearing a scrunchie [Leeds Kirkgate Market], pear necklace [charity shop], dark denim shirt [vintage Next, from a jumble sale], black skater skirt [Topshop], black tights [Spanish hosiery shop], grey topped thermal socks [George at Asda] and tan leather boots [Topshop]
Covadonga is wearing a black and white scarf [Swansea City Official Club Store].

Today is the day of the Spanish presentation (one of two this year)! I have worn a short-sleeved item I can sweat in (it's cotton), so I won't look too flustered and cluttered even if my PowerPoint maneuvers are. I am also wearing my favorite pear charm; I'm not sure if it's lucky, we'll have to wait another week for the result on that.
Generally a pretty simple clothing collective today, but sometimes they can be the best. Don't underestimate the power of a nice shaped skirt and a good top combo. I've edgeh-fied myself a bit with my scrunchie and my socks on display. My top button is also done up, all neat and hipster at the same time. Although, this is a child's shirt, a 15-16 year old child, but nonetheless, kids have small necks. I'm not being strangled by my own shirt, yet, but I fear swallowing my lunch baguette may require undoing a button or two.
Also, bonus points for the small breast pocket for my tissues, because pockets always deserve bonus points and I can carry my pen around in it and look important and knowledgeable to all the students (who, coincidentally, like my skirt and approved my outfit today!)
