Day Forty Nine

Claire is wearing a scrunchie [Leeds Kirkgate Market], dark purple beaded choker [charity shop], silver fitted top [jumble sale], grey men's t-shirt (just seen underneath) [Primark], black skater skirt [Topshop], black tights [Spanish hosiery shop] and black canvas hi-top trainers [Dunlop, from Sports Direct].
Covadonga is wearing a silver and black tasseled scarf [charity shop].

Today I am a robot! I must sit in the library, type away at my screen, refuel and zip home to re-stack my loaned books before recharging tonight.
My top is nicely fitted, in a boxy kind of way and it's silvery; I reckon I look like an upgrade on tinfoil for robot fancy dress. The long sleeves also stop before mid-palm, which is great, as too often I have been led to believe my arms are short by long sleeve tops. I know my legs and myself are short, but I had hoped my arms wouldn't be too stunted as well. The only issue with this top is that it's more of evening kind of top, a wear-while-not-doing-anything-strenuous top, and the fabric can be bit annoying at times, and places.
Therefore, I have solved this by wearing a cotton t-shirt underneath it. I am warm, comfortable and not too sweaty.
To cap my day of awkward choices, I am wearing a less comfortable choker than last week as it's wider and less adjustable. But it looks pretty! It's made of those small purple beads that are iridescent and look slightly dark green in some lights. I love beaded things like this: they're rather funky.
Finally, description of the day form my housemate who said I looked like a 90s grunge ballerina.
