Night One Hundred and Forty

Claire is wearing an off the shoulder white floral dress [charity shop], white frilled socks [Morrison's] and black canvas hi-top trainers [Dunlop, from Sports Direct].
Covadonga is wearing a yellow flower [charity shop] and teal flower [Peacocks].

Meet Hilary, a new investment after some post-exam charity shopping (I also got an intact Travel Scrabble!)
She's called Hilary after Hilary of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, the one with the on-point 1980s fashion: the hats, the skirt suits, the over-sized earrings and buttons all on Daaaadddddy's credit card. This dress is a confusing one, not least for my housemates who thought it was named after Hilary Clinton. It's at once 80s, yet it has a 50s feel with the shoulders and flare-fit, but I also think it has a hint of bridesmaid in there too. I'm embracing my fear of white because I love the bright floral print, so vibrant and fun! Also love the fact that the label of the dress informs me that it was made by Extra Femme.
I wore it out, being the only one of us in white, not black! One of our group informed me of a young lady checking Hilz out by the bar, she is a head turner. This demonstrates that one of the easiest and edgeh-est, hipstery feats is simply wearing incongruous clothing. I wore a pretty floral dress with a 3D fabric rose with my child socks and buns to drink cocktails in a cool watering hole. And looked and felt great, because there's always a time to wear the things you want, you just have to state that the time is now!
Finally, I've taken pointers from a friend's eyeliner and I drew my flick at a more upright angle and suddenly everyone thought my eye-makeup was genius. After years and far too many cotton buds and twitchy eye-lids, I have mastered the eye pen!
