Claire is wearing a lilac pillar box hat covered in flowers with netting [charity shop], sky blue mottled men's t-shirt [Primark]blue squiggly flowers, dragonflies and butterflies on yellow culottes [St Micheal, from a charity shop] ,zebra-print thermal socks [George at Asda] and white creepers [charity shop].
Covadonga is wearing a straw hat covered in black and white petaled flowers and leaves [charity shop].
Wore this hat as I'd not worn it before and I fancied jazzing up my outfit. It was a last minute addition. And this time I put the elastic behind my ponytail first time! It is a theatrical piece, especially the veil and the way it perches on my head with it's flapping bow at the back. My housemate told me I ventured out the realm of edgeh and ventured into plain odd territory. I should have expected some looks but a group on a table actually stared at me, I felt a bit of a fool, I won't lie, but it feels good to have made a statement. In the words of that housemate 'you do you' and besides, the unsubtle judges on the table were very drab looking.
So I have done me all day. Except when it rained on the way home and I had to shelter under my brolly.
Otherwise, nicely co-ordinated culottes and t-shirt!
