Day Seventy Seven

 

Claire is wearing a yellow, pink and orange flowered dress [jumble sale], black tights [Spanish hosiery shop] and tan leather boots [Topshop]. 

Covadonga is wearing a brightly coloured scarf with a fish on it [Chinese bazaar, Spain].



 

 

I've donned my librarian dress in the hope that it will inspire me to study. Hopefully...

It's called my librarian dress for several reasons, not least because someone has commented on its suitability for such a purpose. It looks rather boring and brown at first glance, as from slightly afar (or in a poor quality photograph) the colours of the flowers tend to blend into one another producing a splodged browny-beige. It also is in possession of the tightest three-quarter length sleeves I know. I think three-quarter lengths are quite librariany myself. I keep thinking about cutting the elastic inside them, but fear both the result and my poor seamstress skills.

The flowers, possibly carnations and daisies, are my favourite things about it. The colours compliment each other and there's baby flowers and blooming flowers and leaves, plenty of leaves. The neckline is rather flattering too.
