Claire is wearing a men's pink, moss green, blue and cream woven shirt [French Connection, from a jumble sale], small pink rose pin [jumble sale] black leggings [Primark], grey topped thermal socks [George at Asda] and tan leather boots [Topshop].
Covadonga is wearing a pink flower corsage [charity shop].
Comfort was once more on the agenda today: I had an essay to hand in, a group of year 9s to help and some camera film to collect. I was however sweating through my shirt at 11:30am. Luckily I haven't had to get too close to anyone yet today...
I chose my woven shirt today because I had a small I-have-nothing-to-wear moment this morning when confronted with my wardrobe. Those moments are horrible and illogical. I know I have clothes, I can see them all there. But at the same time I have nothing I want to wear or anything is suitable to wear. My shirts bored me. So I picked this one because it was comfy and had five colours in it. It matched my new flower pin badge as well!
I made my hair nice (I had a plan for that part of me); I have 2 french plaits on my head going into one big plait. It looks like I have some fancy hair roll going on which I'm quite taken with!
Remember, you all have (some lovely) clothes and even on a puzzled day there will be something to cover yourself with. Even if it's a duvet of defeat when you go back to bed.
