Day Fifteen

Claire is wearing a green cotton-blend dark mint dress [charity shop], tan belt [charity shop], gold rings [second hand, H&M, ]black tights [Spanish hosiery shop] and tan leather boots [Topshop].
Covadonga is wearing forest green velvet bow tie [charity shop].

Sometimes the best way to feel pulled together is to pull an outfit together.
It's also nice to look and feel a bit feminine.
Dresses are fab for both! Just sling them on, top and bottom all covered (hopefully) and on with the day: limited co-ordination needed, no tucking in or rolling up either! I used to dislike wearing dresses, but I've learnt how great they are for almost any occasion. Busy days with running around are no problem with wide skirted dresses, and they'll look elegantly flowy when you run for the bus. Informal, slouchy days can be wrapped up in jumper dresses and jersey. Formal days can be encased in shift and A-line skirted dresses. Oh, and come home-time when you can have bar-time and dress-up time: all the dresses in between!
Mine today has a swirling pleated skirt with cuffed sleeves. The neckline is lovely; I've never worn anything with a collar, mini v-neck hybrid before. The belt is necessary to pull in all the pleats, without it, I would be wearing 1940s style maternity wear (it's that billowy).
Dresses: the easiest one-piece to wear!
