Crown your greasy hair! Then wash it, or at very least dry shampoo it.
Scarves are friends worth making; they will save you on many a hideous roots day and serve as extra decoration, should you need any. Wrapping it around like a hairband not only allows you to look like an (unpretentious) princess, but gives added height.
Also, not to be forgotten are earrings! Dangling earrings and collars can be centimetres apart and live in harmony. Dangling earrings should be embraced in daylight hours, they're not just nocturnal ornaments, but if you too have an irrational fear of stretched lobes, don't wear Beyoncé chandeliers everyday.
Finally, enjoy grey! It can be just as good a base as black, it goes with dark or bright colours and it can be casual or formal. Grey days can be the best days.
